I’m a San Diego native, working outside the
home mom of 2. I have always been interested in health and from teenage years,
I have had my share of following fad diets. Most have helped me achieve some
sort of result I was looking for, but they didn’t last. Part of the problem, I
found was they were usually extreme, not sustainable. Now that I am well into
my 30’s I am more concerned with real health and living the a balanced life. I
am not perfect, but if I was trying to be that would not be being balanced. Don’t
get me wrong, there was a time I was striving for perfection, but over the past
X number year, I have learned that is an unattainable goal in this system.
I have learned there are always two sides and
you will always find some “expert” saying the opposite of another “expert”.
There is a lot of garbage that a person has to weed through. I am not about
going to extremes and cutting out certain products or foods. I am about balance
and what works for each individual. I am not all about one product or program,
but have my faves from multiple sources.
Whether its having a splurge with food or having a lazy day.
I’m not a born writer, or a nutritionist, a
chemist, scientist, or doctor. I love the human body and it fascinates me. When
I was a kid I wanted to be a Doctor, but I learned I was not it cut for that. I
am a busy mom, wife, and daughter.
I love cooking, eating, trying new things,
sports and makeup. I am looking forward to sharing some tips and products that
I have found to be amazing. My recipes are real and I have made them with the
family. I always try to cook healthy, and when I splurge I try to use the best
whole ingredients I can. When I say whole, I mean unrefined, unprocessed.
